GUIDO CIOMPI
After 8 years spent at Lorenzo Papi's office, in 1990, Guido Ciompi accomplished his full grade degree at the University of Florence. Since 1992, he has been carrying out his free-lance activity from his own office in Florence, Piazza dei Ciompi 16, involving architecture, interior decoration and design. His first works included private homes, such as Villa Coveri and Villa Medici, chalets and shops, such as Gucci's in many Italian cities and Ermanno Scervino's in Florence, and the developing of some stands at Palazzo Pitti. His works range into many directions, such as the hotel market, launched in 1994 by designing the interior decoration of Grand Hotel Le Picchiaie on the Isle of Elba. He has designed the interior decoration of luxury hotels, both in Italy and abroad, with a special refinement for the choice of colors and materials, every time coming up with the creation of a unique masterpiece. Architect Ciompi has developed Sinahotels project in Venice with Consonni Contract.
