PIERRE-YVES ROCHON
Pierre-Yves Rochon, of Britons origins, spent his youth assimilating styles and tastes from around the world. In so doing, he has sharpened his curiosity and opened his spirit to all artistic and cultural currents. After having hesitated between the music and cinema faculty, he finally opted for Beaux Arts and chose Decoration and Interior architecture. Before opening his own private office at the age of thirty, he worked for the most famous contemporary Interior Decorators, experimenting with tendencies and styles, from the most classical to the most futurist. His first works, often under competition, included offices, apartments, private homes and above all the Hotel Des Crayères in Reims. This project marks his entry into the conquest of the hotel world and in particularly of the wide international market. Together Arch. Rochon with Consonni Contract has fulfilled the Montecarlo Bay Hotel, in Monaco.
